A Dreadful Loss

Well today was the first blow out loss Logan had to deal with and it was not pretty. His team

lost 23 - 6 and the 6 points came in the final seconds of the game. As you can see he was not a happy camper. Not only does he not like to lose he did not feel he played a good game. The other team was much better than his but his team did not play well. Logan muffed some snaps early in the game but seemed to play better in the second half of the game. BUT that is part of

the whole game of sports. Losing and learning from it. He has to learn his role on the team and

to do his best but football is a team sport and the team also has to play well. OH well. It's just a game. So far he is doing well on his exams at school. ALL A's. Go LOGAN!! He just took another math test on Friday and we don't know how he did on that one and has a social studies test on Wednesday. Well that's it for now. Beth

Another football post

Another post. Wow. Of course it is football season. Well the boys won the first official game of the season!! GO PANTHERS!!. Logan did very well at center. He remembered all the snap counts and blocked OK. He didn't have too many plays on offense since they scored pretty quickly and the defense played most of the game but he did well. He still isn't thrilled to be playing center--- he would much rather be on defense and be making tackles but.... OH well. So here are some photos. And I will have more next week. Logan is # 54. Since he just plays center and is on kick off returns the photos aren't great but there they are. For grandma and grandpa-- if you click on the photos they will open larger in another window and you can save them. Plus I can email some if you want any of them. Beth

I'M BAAAACK !!!!!

Well guys it's that time of year again. No, not back to school. FOOTBALL. Yes and that means pictures and stories. Well I do have the back to school pics too, but now that Log is getting older they just aren't so cute. And I don't have any of the house worth showing yet. Too darn busy.

So, lets see. Logan much to his chagrin is playing center. For the football illiterate, that means he is on offense and snapping the ball and then blocking. It is actually a pretty cool position if you must be on offense but to Logan being on offense is just pure torture. And being on offense and having a position with responsibility and that is important as well and where every mistake is noticed by the coaches and gets you yelled at.... well not so much fun. He still keeps hoping he may get to play some defense and make some tackles...but we'll see. His team won their first game 25 -6 --- pretty nice way to start. I guess we'll see how the rest of the season goes. Rick is one of the coaches and I get to be a team mom photographer. At the end of the season we will compile a DVD of photos for the kids of all the photos I and another mom take. Right up my alley.

School for Logan is super busy. So far he is doing well. He has 25 words spelling test every week, plus cursive writing and then a 20 word vocab test. I am not sure when his other tests will be. He already took his math test on Fri. and they plan on another one soon I guess. School here is much harder with many more projects, rules, etc. Oh well. Anyway onto the football pics. Logan is number 54, playing center and blocking. I will try and post some other photos of the house when I can. Beth

Bad blogger. Bad blogger. Well this is another picture filled recap.Hope you like looking at LOTS & LOTS of pics. Most of these fun photos were taken at the beach on Sat. For those of you suffering in the colder climes--HAHA.!LOL. Logan loved the water--freezing though it was. The boy would not leave the water, but I got some fun photos. Pretty sunsets. So enjoy the pics. Also A few from the fair a few weeks ago. Of course other than the rides his fave thing of all was to pretend to drive anything that had wheels. All Boy, All the time. Talk to everyone soon. Beth
