JUST MORE LOGAN PHOTOS

Well I am still suffering with the CRUD!! This stuff just doesn't want to leave. I have a few photos of Logan playing with Rick, being a star wars warrior, and just being Logan. Logan got an awesome report card for those I haven't told yet. Straight A's and all the social and behavioral stuff was ---TAH DAH-- satisfactory and outstanding(for doing his work on time) and the only thing that was satisfactory minus was paying attention and following instructions. Great improvement. Way to Go LOGAN!! That was his best report card yet and under comments it even said he was playing well with the children at recess!! Wow. So happy. He has really adjusted well to the move and is so much happier and doing so well. Rick and I are very pleased with his progress and how well he's doing. He still has a LOOOOONG way to go but he is definitely on the right track. Next week he is going to be 10!! How did that happen. I swear it was just yesterday I was trudging to the hospital with Rick to have him, wondering what he would look like and if he would be ok and now here we are 10 years later in a blink of an eye. How could it happen so quickly??
Well have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING everyone. Talk soon. Beth

Can you believe that little, scrawny, baby is my Logie Boy!! Boy time flies and how he changes. So handsome and beautiful now and so full of life and personality. The boy would argue with the devil himself. From such little beginnings. Well that's all for now. Love, Beth

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Well for Halloween Logan decided to be a very well muscled commando! He and a neighborhood boy went trick or treating until they decided to just go play. It was an atypically cold and damp night down here-- more like a northern night. Today--Sat. was Logan's last football game. They lost so they won't be going to the bowl game. I think Rick and Logan will be glad to have some time to themselves for a change. Logan played really well this season I think. He even started to like playing center and offense. He isn't sure if he wants to play anything else now for a while so we may have some quiet times. Here are some Halloween pics. He looks so young in these pictures. Hard to believe he is almost 10!! I will post some of the football pictures next week. Take care Beth

ANOTHER WINNING GAME

Well this was another great win for the boys. They won 31-6!! As you can tell they were pretty happy. As Logan plays on the offensive line as a center I don't get such interesting shots. There are only so many pictures of someone snapping the ball you can take before they all look the same.!!! I did get a few good shots of him blocking but even those shots are hard to come by. The line all blocks and so it is hard to get a clear shot of him when he is doing his job well because he is in the middle of the action. And Logan is number 54 for those who don't know .

In other news he continues to do well at school and as far as I know is on pace to make straight A's in the first semester. GO LOGAN. He is starting to make some school friends as well and today even played basketball with one of the boys in the neighborhood who is on his football team.

Monday he and Rick leave for 2 1/2 days for a school field trip to Jekyll Island to learn about ecology, biology and Florida ecosystems. I am not sure if Rick is excited to be roughing it and spending 3 days and nights with a
bunch of 9 and 10 year olds but
Logan is sure looking forward to it.
I hope they have fun and that Logan

learns alot. Logan has really started to adjust well. He doesn't miss the old neighborhood at all anymore. He loves his new school, home, room, and neighborhood. He is even enjoying football for the most part although he REALLY misses playing defense. Well update more soon. Take care, Beth.

More Photos of Logie Boy

Well it was a glorious weekend here in Jacksonville.
Logan played hard and as you
may or may not be able
to see from some of these
photos he has some game face!! For those who aren't sure Logan is number 54!!

Unfortunately the team lost. It was quite an exciting game and they had some chances to win at the end but alas....Some games just don't get there!! Logan made all his snaps even with a heavy pass rush-- lots of big boys getting in his face trying to knock him down and he improved on his blocking. His team is now 1-2 not the best record but they will hopefully improve.

These are some beautiful shots of my boy that I forced him to take today because his visiting Grandma and Grandpa wanted some photos. I am biased but he is quite the little stunner. Of course the photos are all retouched a bit but none the less he is in my humble opinion quite "handsome" . He really enjoyed seeing Rick's parents whom he hadn't seen in some time but getting photos of him now is quite the challenge. These required threats of bodily harm and loss of TV viewing. Well hope everyone is well and speak to everyone soon. Beth

MORE PICS

Well some more pics for everyone's
viewing pleasure. No football pictures

this time. Just a few shots of Logan and Grandma. Logan had a relaxing few days. Very little homework, no football game, no tests!! And he got an AWESOME(his words) new Hulk PS2 game for getting all A's so far this semester. He likes it because he gets to destroy things and as best as I understand it he can heal himself by destroying things. The perfect little( or not so little except in my eyes) boy game. This week we are back to the grind of tests and football and more homework and tests. Oh well. Hard to believe but his semester is at the halfway point. And he keeps losing teeth!!. As you may or not be able to tell in these pics. He has lost 4 teeth in the past three weeks.!! Well more football shots this weekend. Beth

A Dreadful Loss

Well today was the first blow out loss Logan had to deal with and it was not pretty. His team

lost 23 - 6 and the 6 points came in the final seconds of the game. As you can see he was not a happy camper. Not only does he not like to lose he did not feel he played a good game. The other team was much better than his but his team did not play well. Logan muffed some snaps early in the game but seemed to play better in the second half of the game. BUT that is part of

the whole game of sports. Losing and learning from it. He has to learn his role on the team and

to do his best but football is a team sport and the team also has to play well. OH well. It's just a game. So far he is doing well on his exams at school. ALL A's. Go LOGAN!! He just took another math test on Friday and we don't know how he did on that one and has a social studies test on Wednesday. Well that's it for now. Beth
